Contracts cost between 1¢ and 99¢ and can be sold anytime. At market close, each correct contract is worth $1. TRADE SPORTS Kalshi lets you trade on real sports outcomes across football, basketball, hockey, soccer, MMA, tennis, golf, and more. Trade pro and college sports with highly liquid prediction markets. Trade live as games unfold, or combine multiple outcomes into one trade with Combos. Kalshi is a Preferred Prediction Market Exchange of the NBA, bringing official NBA data to basketball markets. HOW IS KALSHI REGULATED? Kalshi is federally regulated as a Designated Contract Market (DCM) by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Kalshi’s affiliate, Kalshi Klear LLC, is a CFTC-regulated clearinghouse that holds member funds and clears trades. TRADE PERPETUALS Perpetual futures, or perps, let you trade the price of an asset without owning it. Go long if you expect the price to rise, or short if you expect it to fall. Perps have no expiration date, so you choose when to close your position. On Kalshi, you can trade perps on crypto (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP), metals (gold, silver, copper), oil, and U.S. stock indexes, in the same app as your prediction markets. Gold and silver perps trade 24/7. KALSHI VS. STOCKS Event contracts are direct. You trade the outcome of an event, not the future stock price of a company. In stock trading, you can be right and still lose money due to market sentiment or news. Prediction markets remove that layer. KALSHI VS. OPTIONS Event contracts are simpler. Options pricing depends on multiple complex factors. Kalshi contracts reflect straightforward event probabilities. No time decay. If the event odds stay the same, contract value stays stable. HOW MUCH MONEY DO I NEED TO START? Open and maintain a Kalshi account for free. Prediction markets require less capital than traditional trading, making it easier to diversify without risking large amounts. 18+ only. Restrictions and eligibility requirements apply. Trading event contracts and trading leveraged products, including perpetual futures, involves significant risk and is not appropriate for everyone. Please carefully consider if it is appropriate for you in light of your personal financial circumstances. Not representative of overall customer performance or success. Past results are not necessarily indicative of future performance. Kalshi products are not available in all jurisdictions. See kalshi.com/regulatory for more information. Additional perpetual contract offerings are subject to applicable regulatory review and approval, and availability may vary. Leverage amplifies both potential gains and potential losses, and losses can exceed the amount deposited. Leverage limits are determined by KalshiEX LLC or the FCM based on its own risk assessment and each customer's individual risk profile, and are subject to change.
