Mawmaw's - Family Recipe Cards

À propos

Some recipes are more than instructions. They’re the card in your grandmother’s handwriting, soft at the corners and spotted with butter. The cookbook page that falls open on its own. The dish that tastes like every holiday you remember. Mawmaw’s keeps them safe, and cooks them with you. Take a picture of the card, the page or the screenshot. Mawmaw’s reads it, asks about anything the card leaves out, and turns it into a recipe you can cook from tonight. The original stays with it, every word just as it was written. When it’s time to cook, each step is right in front of you in big, clear words, with a timer ready for everything that takes time: the dough’s rise, the stir every few minutes, the turn halfway through the bake. Timers ring like an alarm, even when your phone is on silent, with the sound you choose. They wait on your Lock Screen too, so you never unlock your phone with floury hands. Hands full? Ask Siri for the next step. Cooking the whole holiday dinner? Keep four recipes going at once. Making a double batch for the reunion, or just enough for two? Change how much it makes, and every amount follows, in the cups and spoons you already measure with. Add a photo of the finished dish, or of the dough at just the right stage, so next time you’ll know exactly what it should look like. Your recipes are yours. They live on your phone and in your own iCloud, and they’re with you even without a signal. There’s no account to make, no ads, no tracking and no subscription. And when someone asks for the recipe, send them the whole thing, photos and all, with your name on it, so it will always say whose kitchen it came from. The recipes your family handed down, kept for good. Made by Clear Blue Design in Louisiana.
