Ladle for Mealie

À propos

Ladle is a home for your Mealie recipes on iPhone, iPad and Mac, and it fills your grocery cart too. Connect it to your own Mealie server and everything you've saved is right there: your recipes, your meal plan and your shopping lists. Then fill your Walmart or Kroger cart from the week's recipes in one tap. Ladle used to be called MealieCart. COOK WITHOUT THE MESS • Cook mode shows one step at a time in big, easy-to-read text • Your screen stays on while you cook, so you don't have to touch it with messy hands • Tap a time in a step ("simmer for 15 minutes") to start a timer that rings even when Ladle is closed • Change the servings and every amount changes with it. Fractions read like a cookbook: 1½ cups, not 1.5 PLAN THE WEEK • See the week's breakfasts, lunches and dinners at a glance • Add a recipe or a quick note ("Leftovers", "Pizza night") to any day • Put the whole week's ingredients on your shopping list in one tap SHOP TOGETHER • Your Mealie shopping lists, sorted by aisle • Tap to tick items off; changes from the rest of your household show up within seconds FILL YOUR CART IN ONE TAP • Link each ingredient to the exact Walmart or Kroger product you buy, once: the right brand, size and count • Whenever that recipe is on your list, Ladle already knows what to add • Cart review shows every product with its pack count. Switch items off or change counts • Tap Add to Walmart cart or Add to Kroger cart, then check out yourself. Ladle never checks out or pays for anything • Mark pantry staples, like salt or olive oil, and Ladle skips them in every recipe • At Kroger and its family of stores, see your store's prices and choose pickup or delivery • Done shopping ticks those items off your Mealie list BRING THE HOUSEHOLD IN • Invite someone with a QR code: they point their camera at it and make their account right in the app • Choose who can invite people, manage the household or organize recipes RUN YOUR MEALIE FROM YOUR PHONE • Admins can add and remove people, set a new password for someone who forgot theirs, and unlock accounts • Manage households and groups, and make, download and restore backups SAVE RECIPES FROM ANYWHERE • In Safari, tap Share, then Ladle, and your Mealie saves the recipe MADE FOR SELF-HOSTERS • Works with Mealie 2.0 and later, on your home Wi-Fi or on the internet • Sign in with your password, single sign-on, or an API token • Product links and pantry staples sync between your devices through your own iCloud • No accounts, no ads, no tracking No Mealie yet? Tap "Look around with sample recipes" to try everything first, cart included. Mealie is a free, open-source recipe manager (mealie.io). Ladle is an independent app and isn't made by or affiliated with Mealie, Walmart or Kroger.
