Bloxks Teams

Build together, invite free accounts and share a credit pool in your project.

Bloxks Teams is the collaborative workspace included in Empire. Up to 10 people per project, including you, can build the same app, comment and make decisions together.

Who needs a subscription?

The founder needs Empire to enable sharing and invite people. Invitees can use a free Bloxks account, with no paid subscription. They must already have an account matching the invitation email address.

An invitation gives free users access to your shared projects. It does not give them an Empire subscription or unlimited personal projects. If the founder loses Empire, free guests lose access in Bloxks until it is restored.

Create and invite

  1. Open the + menu in the prompt field and choose to build together. You can also invite people from an existing project.
  2. Enter the email address of their Bloxks account.
  3. Choose a role and send the invitation.
  4. They open the email, sign in with the matching account and confirm joining.

Links expire after 7 days. Pending invitations reserve seats. Your founder seat leaves room for 9 other people. Revoke unused invitations to free their seats.

Choose roles

Role Permissions
Founder Build, invite, manage roles and the pool, publish and manage the project.
Cofounder Build, vote, contribute credits, invite and manage editors and viewers. Can publish.
Editor Build, vote, comment and contribute credits.
Viewer Follow the project and comment. Cannot generate or spend the pool.

The founder appoints cofounders. A cofounder can also manage cofounders they originally appointed. Available actions depend on the assigned role.

Fund creation with a shared pool

Open the credit pool section in the shared project settings. Authorized members choose how much credit to make available, starting at €1 or $1, up to their available balance.

The person generating uses their personal credits first, then the pool covers the remainder. Free guests with editor or cofounder roles can therefore build using pooled credits.

For example, invite a friend with a free account as an editor and contribute €20 in project credits. They can request changes to this app using the pool when their own credits run out.

These are credits for building the app, not cash transfers or app revenue sharing. Each contribution has a limit. You can adjust it or withdraw its unused portion; spent credits cannot be recovered.

First prompt: bring everyone’s ideas together

In a new empty shared project, everyone can submit an idea. The first contribution starts a shared 60-second countdown. Others can add ideas and contributors can update their own proposal until the deadline. Viewers follow along; cofounders and editors can contribute.

When the countdown ends, the ideas become one prompt, and a single generation starts once an authorized member is connected. If everyone leaves, starting waits for an eligible member to return. Reloading preserves contributions and the deadline.

The AI can ask up to 10 planning questions in total, across the entire team. It names contributors using their profile names: for example, “Théo Martin suggested messaging. Would you prefer private conversations or groups?” Project choices can be voted on together. Personal accounts and credentials are handled separately.

Build together

Only one generation runs at a time per project. Others follow the AI responses and changes. Their requests can enter the queue for a later turn. During planning, requests may also add context to the current request.

Project questions can be put to a vote among eligible online members. Personal questions, credentials and service connections remain addressed to the person concerned.

Presence, cursors and comments

Avatars show who is connected in real time. When mouse sharing is enabled, cursors help point out elements in the workspace. They do not remotely control another person's app or share their keystrokes.

Cursors automatically hide when 5 distinct users are connected simultaneously. They become available again below 5. Offline members do not count; multiple tabs belonging to one account count as one person for this threshold. Avatars and comments remain available.

Use comments to discuss an element on a screen without submitting a generation request.

Publish with your team

Founders and cofounders can publish. Members can explicitly lend their App Store or Google Play account to a project and withdraw that access later. Their account cannot be used without consent. Editors and viewers can follow publications but cannot start them.

Secret credentials are not exposed to other members. Apple verification may still require the account holder's involvement.

Remove a member or leave

Managers can remove members or change their roles. Members can leave. Their contributions stop being available and their project access is removed.

A departing founder needs a cofounder to take over. An Empire successor is preferable to preserve free guests' access. Deleting a project with cofounders requires their approval.
