Bloxks keeps a library of ready-to-use assets for your apps and games, and you can always add your own on top. Everything you add gets wired into your project automatically: Bloxks writes the code that loads, places and plays it, you don’t.

What’s in the library

  • 2D sprites and tiles: characters, props, environment pieces and tile sets, ready for platformers, top-down games and pixel-art scenes.
  • 3D models: props and scenery (crates, rocks, trees, vehicles, buildings...) as real 3D files you can drop straight into a scene.
  • Animated characters: player and NPC models that come already rigged and animated, walking, running, reacting, no stiff T-pose.

Search by name or category right from the Assets tab of your project, preview the result, and add it with one tap.

Search for "pine tree" and add three to the edge of the level.

Find a female character and use her as the player.

Bring your own files

Not in the library? Upload your own from the same tab: images, 3D models (.glb, .gltf, .usdz), video clips and sound files. Bloxks stores them with your project and hooks them up the same way it does for library assets, no extra step.

Music and sound effects

Add a sound the same way, from the library or your own file, and Bloxks plays it at the right moment (a tap, a pickup, a win screen) without you writing any audio code. The built-in sound library is still growing, so for now your own uploads are the most reliable way to get exactly the music or effect you want.

Good to know

  • Every asset you add is scoped to your project: nothing shows up in someone else’s app by accident.
  • 3D models and sounds each have a reasonable limit per project so your game keeps loading fast; if you hit it, remove what you don’t use before adding more.
  • Everything in the built-in library is free to use in your published app or game.
